Paco is the doorway. What Diego opens in this session is something deeper: a way of hearing, feeling and bringing this language to the piano from within, with compás, intention and real musical judgement.

What you will discover

  •
    • Why playing well is not enough when the language still lacks compás, intention and living air.
    • How Diego hears this musical universe and what changes when the piano stops imitating and starts to belong inside it.
    • What makes a phrase sound flamenco or not, even when the technique is already there.
    • Which resources a musician with a solid foundation can begin to carry into the piano without falling into a mechanical copy.
    • Which mistakes block sensitive, well-trained players who still feel that this does not sound true yet.

    Who this is for

    • Pianists with a solid musical foundation who already play well but feel they still do not sound genuinely flamenco.
    • Jazz, conservatory, composition and flamenco musicians looking for language rather than formulas.
    • Performers and composers who value depth, judgement and real access to a living artist.

    About Diego Amador

    • What Diego Amador shares here does not come from an academic approach or a packaged repertoire. It comes from a living way of hearing, thinking and bringing this language to the piano from within.

    Shorts FAQ

    •
    •
    •
    • Do I need to be a professional pianist? No. You do need a musical foundation and a listening mind. This is not for absolute beginners, but it is not built around empty virtuosity either. Will I learn a piece note by note? No. The piece is the doorway. What is really being worked here is understanding, judgement, compás, intention and a more living way of hearing and playing. Is this really designed for piano? Yes. The approach starts from the piano, while avoiding an academic reading detached from real flamenco language. How do I access the session? Access is free with prior registration. You will receive the event link, reminders and the necessary information by email so entry is simple on the day.
